Managing Director & CEO

Ramesh Jogani is one of the pioneers in the real estate fund space with a realized track record of successful exits and a history of firsts in the Indian marketplace. Under his leadership, the platform has grown from its first domestic fund raise in 2006 to one that spans four funds (both domestic and offshore) as well as one third party (listed) mandate totaling INR 37b.

Ramesh is a developer by training and has been engaged in the development of over 2.5m sq ft across Mumbai and Pune in his personal capacity prior to joining and growing INDIAREIT since inception. His understanding of the various nuances of the real estate domain and an inherent ability to identify and manage lucrative investment opportunities as well as build sustainable relationships with development partners has been instrumental in INDIAREIT's success. As a testament to this broad based value addition, INDIAREIT is also the first fund to have successfully round tripped earlier investments, had no partner litigations or credit default across its entire portfolio and delivered consistent valuations year on year despite the recent market downturn.

Ramesh is also a Member, National Committee on Real Estate & Housing - Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and has been a representative and active speaker at various national and global industry panels and seminars.

Chief Investment Officer

An alumnus of Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, Jasmeet has over ten years of experience in corporate finance and private equity within the gamut of infrastructure and real estate.

Jasmeet has been a part of INDIAREIT since inception, building it to a INR 37bn alternatives fund house focussed on Real Estate. As CIO of INDIAREIT, Jasmeet overlooks both the investment as well as the fund raising & investor relations function, a journey during which, INDIAREIT has raised over five successful mandates across domestic & offshore markets and is credited with differentiated product structuring which highlights the investor orientation, INDIAREIT has come to be known for. It has also made INDIAREIT a partner of choice to manage third party mandates for investors looking at Indian Real Estate.

Chief Financial Officer

Sachin is responsible for monitoring finance, accounts and compliance. He has over 16 years of experience in financial services in India, including operational functionalities of mutual funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds, equity broking houses and clearing exchanges.

Prior to joining INDIAREIT in 2007, Sachin was at Kotak India Realty Fund as Chief Financial Officer, wherein he was primarily responsible for investors' relations, audit, compliance and fund structuring. He has exposure to various functions including treasury, loan syndication, assurance/audit, portfolio management, MIS, budgeting, internal audits, consulting, due diligence and risk management. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Partner, Investor Relations

Bhushan is responsible for investor relations and fund raising. He has over 19 years of experience. Prior to joining INDIAREIT in 2009, Bhushan headed sales for ICICI Securities Inc. in the USA managing a team which sold various investment products focused on indian opportunities. Before that, he  was at the Private Banking division of ICICI based out of Dubai, where he was responsible for leading a team which advised clients on their investments primarily on Indian opportunities.

He has also worked with INFAC (now part of CRISIL), Reliance Capital Ltd., SMIFS Securities Ltd. and Kotak Mahindra Bank. He holds an MBA from Narsee Monjee Institure of Management Studies, Mumbai.

Partner, Funds

Vaibhav is responsible for overall business development with a particular emphasis on third party fund management and acquisitions, fund raising and monitoring existing investments. He has over 9 years of experience across investment banking and real estate private equity. Prior to joining INDIAREIT in 2010, Vaibhav worked at Savills and DTZ in London where he set up and was responsible for the real estate capital advisory business - equity raising, debt structuring, M&A and fund advisory mandates. He has had significant experience in the indirect property fund space, with a particular emphasis on emerging markets.

Prior to this, Vaibhav has worked at HSBC and Citi within their Investment Banking Divisions across London, Hong Kong, New York and Milan where his broad-based experience ranged from M&A and general corporate finance advisory mandates to equity and debt capital markets transactions as well as structured asset financings. He also advised on the US$2.6 billion IPO of Link REIT in Hong Kong (the largest REIT IPO to date ). He is a MBA from ISB, Hyderabad and an undergraduate from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.

In-house Consultant

Sven is director of German Project Management India Pvt. Ltd. an independent consultant of INDIAREIT for assessing and monitoring development projects. He has over 12 years of experience. He has profound experience of working with GMP architects and Foster + Partners on various projects in India.

Partner, Investments

Amit is responsible for leading new investments and monitoring existing investments in North India. He has over 10 years of experience in financial services with the last 5 years being in real estate investments in Southeast Asia and India.

Prior to joining INDIAREIT in 2010, Amit was a Director at Jones Lang LaSalle's (JLL) Asia Pacific Capital Markets team. Prior to JLL, Amit had setup GE Real Estate's Singapore office, and as head of investments, led transactions in excess of US$ 250 million in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Philippines. Amit has also worked for 5 years at Marakon Associates as a management consultant, and advised CEOs & CFOs of MNCs in over 10 countries across Asia-Pacific. He holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA), and a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC).

Partner, Investments

Pawan is responsible for leading new investments and monitoring existing investments in South India. He has over 14 years of experience in the field of Real Estate, Strategy Consulting, Technology and Infrastructure.

Prior to joining INDIAREIT in 2008, he worked with IBM, UK, based out of London where he was involved in developing Business Strategies for the various European and Middle East clients within the financial sector. Prior to his MBA, Pawan worked for the Global Equities division of Deutsche Bank, Singapore. There he worked as a Business and Technology analyst for Equity systems of the bank. During his MBA, Pawan was a summer intern with Corporate Strategy Group of The World Bank, Washington D.C. He is a B.Tech from IIT, Mumbai and an MBA from Oxford University, UK.
